Fair excuse

I've been away for a while, it's not really motivating to write about not being able to run.

Anyway, as planned last week I went to the Sports Medicine Centre at the university hospital in Ghent and got the diagnose I had expected: a torn adductor muscle. That was the only good news, that is, confirming my self-diagnosis. Other than that, hearing that I would probably be five to six weeks off running isn't exactly what you would want to hear everyday.

In the meanwhile I already had two sessions of physiotherapy and things are shaping up alright. At least I am already walking pain-free, hopefully I'll be able to do a gentle jog on the treadmill within a couple more sessions.

Running the marathon in Brussels is just not realistic so I might well repeat the half-marathon of last year. By the look of things the one in Florence is looking the most likely. Not exactly a bad destination either, just a pity it's at the end of November (read: rainy month in Florence!)

To probe further! First let me get this hip back in working order.
